Lonsdale Auto Works was founded by owner Scott Pelava. As an ASE-Certified Master Auto Technician, Advanced Engine Performance Specialist, Undercar Specialist & Service Consultant, he saw the need for a more modern auto service center in the fast growing community. A strong background in domestic and import vehicles was his launching point. With one apprentice he built a reputation for quality service and fair pricing. As the need arose, additional technicians have been brought on to keep up with our customers need for fast, quality service.
Scott lives in Lonsdale with his wife Sandy & their son & daughter.
Service Manager Barry Wetzel is available to address whatever concerns you may have. Give him a call or drop in to schedule service, arrange for one of our free loaner cars, or any other matter you may have. Barry is experienced in all systems of all makes and models of todays vehicles. He is an ASE-Certified Master Auto Technician & Service Consultant.
Barry & his wife Michelle, along with his two daughters, live in Elysian.
Technician Chris Waskosky is an ASE-Certified Master Auto Technicianas well as a GM & Ford Factory Trained Technician. Chris has an extensive background in vehicle diagnostics, powertrain management systems & electronics. Chris is Powerstroke & DuraMax diesel certified. Chris was the Minnesota 1997 Ford/AAA Skills Challenge Champion & 10th place contestant in the National 1997 Ford/AAA Skills Challenge. Chris repairs all makes & models of vehicles & also small engines.
Chris & his children live in Sheildsville.
George Germain serves as a Towing Operator. George has extensive trucking & transport experience which provides our customers with the peace of mind that their vehicle is being handled by a professional.
Excellent waiting room. Clean orginized friendly...the time passed quickly and it was an overall enjoyable experience.
Lonsdale Auto works is an excellent shop. I know I'm getting good quality work at a fair price, and I'm not being talked down to or disrespected because I am a female patron. Many other shops try to take advantage of women, and talk down to them. Lonsdale Auto Works does not. They respect each customer for who they are, respect their time and their pocketbook. I will gladly recommend them most highly to everyone I know, and return for maintenence and service.
Barry was especially helpful coordinating my work and explaining my options. Really appreciate being able to drop off and pick up the vehicle after hours. Very impressed at how they were able to do same day service for me.
